  • Year 6 Ties

    Fri 28 Feb 2020

In acknowledgment of the significant contributions our Year 6 children make to the life of our school, within their role as School Ambassadors, we were very pleased to present each child with their own special Year 6 tie during today’s Celebration Assembly. The children are welcome to wear their new tie with a plain white shirt (long or short sleeves) with either a school cardigan or special Year 6 school V-neck jumper. (The children are also welcome to wear their old uniform if they wish for the remainder of this academic year, until our new school uniform policy comes into effect in September 2020.)

  • Cape 'n' Rae Worship

    Fri 28 Feb 2020

As you will be aware, the Christian season of Lent is upon us. In school we will be encouraging the children to reflect upon the true meaning of Lent and will be exploring this significant period in the lead up to Easter. School has provided every child with their own special Lent activity book, which is designed to be completed and discussed with family members.

We will be running our Easter Bonnet and Easter Garden competition again this year, with all entries to be submitted by Monday 30th March 2020 – further details to follow.

Students studying the bible at Cape ‘n’ Rae, visited school on Wednesday and delivered a very enjoyable and interactive act of collective worship linked to Lent and Easter. The children thoroughly enjoyed their worship and sang beautifully.

    Christian Value – ‘Forgiveness’

Our focused Christian value this half-term is ‘Forgiveness’. We would love to hear about any instances of your child/ren demonstrating this Christian value outside of school.
