  Wow, what a very busy and exciting end to this unusual half-term. The children in school have thoroughly enjoyed a wide range of arts and crafts activities, in addition to their curricular sessions.

  

• VE Day 2020

  The children have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating VE day today and made a wide range of related flags, bunting and Spitfires. Well done to Beau, who was the overall winner of our Spitfire flying competition. They also enjoyed a traditional street party.

  The children and staff shared a very special Remembrance assembly in school on Tuesday, with the children observing the one minute silence for all our ‘COVID-19 Key Workers’ who have sadly died. The children’s maturity, understanding and respect for all those people who are courageously putting others first (as Jesus has taught us) is admirable.   

   

  Today the children selected their own rocks from the river and (after cleaning & sterilising the rocks) decorated them with a design to acknowledge and celebrate all our ‘COVID-19 Key Workers’.
