Welcome to our Class Page!
This page is for our Early Years, Year 1 and Year 2 children who make up the infants class. We will be putting regular updates on here showing what the children are doing throughout the year.
These overviews show our intended learning for this half term.
The children in reception have been very busy learning about shapes and making pictures with them. They have been working hard blending and segmenting simple words. They have also been exploring Africa, learning about the animals, the land and the music.
KS1 have been learning about printing. They designed and made their own printing blocks. Then used them to create their own printed patterns.

As part of Pet Week, we were very fortunate to have a visit from Guide Dogs. The children enjoyed exploring what it may feel light to have sight impairment and how a guide dog may be helpful. They also thoroughly enjoyed meeting the dogs.

Following on from reading the story Silly Billy in English, the Year 1 and 2 children designed and made their own worry dolls in DT.
Our new Reception children have had a fun week settling in to school.
Year 1 and 2 are learning about the seasons and different weather. They made wind indicators then took them outside to test them in the wind. They will test them on different days to look for the difference.
