  We would like to thank all those families who participated in our annual Easter competition. Every child who entered received a prize.

   

  The Infant Easter competition winners were Hadid Arshad, Zara Raja, Rukeya Ali and Fatima Shahbaz.

• Science Week 2022

  The children have thoroughly enjoyed Science Week this week. It was wonderful watching children of all ages working and learning together. They have had great fun conducting various practical investigations and learning all about volcanoes. They especially enjoyed watching them erupt this morning.

  

• KS2 Cricket Festival

  A team of our Junior children enjoyed a wonderful cricket festival held at Pendle Vale College on Tuesday. They participated in a wide range of activities focused on developing their bowling, striking and fielding skills. The event concluded in a short cricket match against children from Sacred Heart RC Primary School, however the highlight was a very quick teachers versus children match – well done Miss Duxbury and all the children.  

  

• World Book Day 2022

  The children looked fabulous in their costumes and pyjamas yesterday. They thoroughly enjoyed their ‘World Book Day’ reading activities and learning about the importance of not using digital devices before bedtime – as this significantly affects the quality of their much-needed sleep. As always, it was a very difficult task judging the children’s wonderful costumes, but after much deliberation, prizes were awarded to Florence Whitehead, Rukeya Ali, Evie Whitehead, Scarlett-Grace Hill, Eiliyah Nawaz and Kian Hamer. Thank you to all our families for your continued support and the enormous effort you have evidently put into your child/ren’s costumes – they were fantastic!
